Janis Ian & Karla Bonoff: Songs of a Generation "Long before Alanis and Jewel, there was a breed of singer/songwriters whose earthly anthems of soul-searching, heartache and joy touched souls in a way few can muster today." -Billboard
A celebration of song, featuring a pair of the most influential songwriters of the '60s through the '90s, two singer-songwriters ahead of their time, Janis Ian and Karla Bonoff. Janis Ian wrote her first songs at the age of 12, tackling social issues with hits like "Society's Child," and "At Seventeen" that have left an impression on the music world that stands to this day. Karla Bonoff has written songs recorded by some of the most famous voices in music - Linda Ronstandt ("Someone To Lay Down Beside Me"), Wynonna Judd ("Tell Me Why"), and Bonnie Raitt ("Home"), among others. These two unforgettable artists will make this a show to remember.
